Hi! I'm Tabitha!
Hello! My name is Tabitha Miner, I grew up in Marquette Kansas. I went to college in Bowling Green Ohio where I received my bachelors degree in Vocal Performance and Dance, and I have been dancing for over 20 years! I continue to perform and choreograph professionally for many cleveland organizations including playhouse square. I have an adorable Brindle Boxer by the name of Clyde Giuseppe Stephano Miner, who is the love of my life, and who occasionally gets to tag along with me to work (so you just might get to meet him!). I have a passion for dance and an even bigger passion for people, I love working with couples and helping others to reach their goals!
I started Tabitha in Motion because I wanted to work with couples in a way that suits them as individuals, instead of teaching the same thing to every couple because of a protocol. I wanted to create an environment where my couples could express themselves by putting their own personality into their dancing while still having the fundamentals and technique that they need! Dance lessons should be affordable for everyone, and I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dance! My dream is that Tabitha in Motion can make dancing more accessible!
(This is the part where it gets exciting!) Because of all of the support I've gotten from so many wonderful couples I had to bring on some help to properly serve all of you! I am so excited to introduce you to this amazing woman!
Meet Kayla
Hello! My name is Kayla Jenkins, I grew up in Cleveland Ohio. I went to Cleveland School of Arts and majored in dance. I have been dancing and performing for over 15 years and teaching for 6 years. I love all things dance, as I breathe, eat and think about dancing as it brings me joy. When I hear any music, it makes me want to dance anywhere.
I have a cute and chunky American Bulldog by the name of Koda who will be turning 2 but thinks he is still 5 weeks old and wants to sit in my lap. He is my son by all means and is very spoiled yet shy. Dancing gives me energy and I enjoy teaching anyone who wants to learn. I love working with couples, individuals, line dancing, hip-hop or any genre of dance.
When teaching dance, I aim to make sure the couple or individual feels at ease and wants to express themselves through dance. Everyone catches the beat in some way shape or form, and I am here to help them see it in the most comfortable expression and enjoyable environment. In my dance class their personality will shine while having fun yet learning the proper technique that they need to succeed. Come dance with me and smile.
Kayla will be teaching here in Cleveland with me! Let me tell you I fell in love with this girl the second I met her and I'm sure you will too!
